Firstly we make this exotic Skye Necklace out of a nut we know as Tagua or vegetable ivory. The Tagua nut is an ivory colour. Once the brown hull has been removed, but can we can dye it any colour of the spectrum. Crafters and carvers have known about it many years and call it vegetable ivory. We make this design with slices of vegetable ivory displaying in a v neck arrangement as a result it is very lightweight.
