A beautiful hat!
I loved this hat when I first saw it , but didn’t order it at the time. By the time I did get around to ordering it, a beautiful misty blue colour option had been added. So glad I waited! The hat is lovely, light and a perfect fit. Can’t wait for cool weather to wear it.

As worn by the Duchess of Cambridge

Our Alpaca Fur Luxury Hat has a deep soft, fluffy brim a clipped fur crown and come in two sizes. They are incredibly glamorous and flattering. So light and warm, perfect for winter weddings, race meetings or just walking the dog.

Silky soft and light as air, each hat is handmade in Peru by a select team of skilled craftswomen. The Alpaca fur is extremely strong and durable, stronger than mohair, finer than cashmere, smoother than silk and warmer than goose-down.

The Alpaca Fur Hat is a timeless classic, which you can wear season after season.
You can be safe in the knowledge that all our baby fur is derived solely and without exception from natural herd loss due to the brutally cold temperatures.Farmers care greatly about their herd, and no animal is unnecessarily harmed in the production of these glorious hats.

Diameter of the hats come in two sizes from 56-60cm. | Small/Medium 56-58cm. | Medium/Large  58-60cm |

Animal welfare

In the process of obtaining the alpaca fur, the animals are not killed. The skins of the alpacas are obtained by the natural death of these species. This is due to the special economic reason; simply the value of the alpaca wool is very precious for the local farmers and breeders, so we are defenders of alpacas and are against killing. We only supply Alpaca fur of animals that have died naturally.

Care of fur

For all our fur items, we recommend that you use a wire pet brush to restore the fur. Avoid wearing perfume or hairspray if this might come into direct contact with your fur as the alcohol/chemicals content can dry out the leather skin. Oils may also penetrate the fur and turn rancid.

For more serious cleaning or for when liquids have been spilt on the fur, cover the stain with talcum powder and gently but deeply rub in. Leave for an hour or two then brush away the excess. This will lift residues and dirt from the shaft and restore the fluffiness of the fur.

All of our Alpaca fur hats are supplied to us from the same factory in the village Sicuani, Peru that Lacorine source there hats. So these are the same hats that are worn by the Duchess of Cambridge.
